About
Devon Scott-Davis is a recent graduate from Rochester Institute of Technology. She graduated December of 2023 with a BFA in Illustration, a minor in 3D Studio Design, and a minor in Psychology. She also graduated magna cum laude with a 3.72 GPA. During this time, Devon was a part of the Women's Swimming and Diving team from 2019 to 2022 and left the program due to injury. After this she became a volunteer assistant coach for the same team. While at RIT Devon was published in the Society of Illustrators Student Competition catalog in 2022. She also volunteered at Rochester Animal Services and went on study abroad to Malmo, Sweden in 2022.
In the summer of 2021 Devon joined Ocreations as a Graphic Design Intern. She designed concepts for company logos and branding using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. She also made concepts for packaging, apparel, and, advertising.
In the summer of 2022 Devon became a part of the Disney College Program. She served as a resource for guests by giving directions, helping with various problems, and creating magical experiences at The Polynesian Village resort, The Yacht and Beach Club, The Wilderness Lodge, and All-Star Music. She was able to attend lectures and classes from experienced Disney artists and educators and go to the Walt Disney World Parks on her days off.
Devon recently became an entrepreneur. She sold prints, stickers, cups, and ornaments at a local coffee store called Boulder Coffee Co. She is hoping to create a larger customer base with her instagram.
Devon currently resides in Western New York and continues to develop her portfolio with Character Designs, Illustrations, and sketches. She recently became a member of Women in Animation and participates in seminars and lectures near her to continue learning about the animation and entertainment industry.
With continuing to learn and grow her style, Devon also keeps up with her many hobbies. These include running, lifting, baking, crocheting, sewing, and coffee making. This is all accompanied by her cat, Cleo (except for running and lifting of course).
